Load Optimizer

Container stuffing and vanning software

A stuffing plan is the packing sequence for one container, in an order the crew can actually work through. Load Optimizer produces it in seconds and exports it as a document.

Stuffing, vanning, container loading

Different regions use different words for the same job. Forwarders and exporters usually say stuffing plan. North American 3PLs often say vanning. Software vendors tend to say container loading. They all describe the arrangement of cargo inside a container and the order it goes in.

Load Optimizer handles all three the same way: you describe the cargo, it produces the arrangement, and you get a document the loading crew can follow.

Built for the loading floor, not just the office

A stuffing plan is only useful if the people doing the work can follow it. That means the sequence matters as much as the arrangement.

Multi-container and mixed cargo

When a shipment does not fit in one container, the optimiser searches vehicle combinations and ranks the four best plans by how well they actually fit, rather than filling one box and overflowing into the next.

Mixed cargo is handled properly: cartons, crates, drums, pallets and trolleys can share a container with their own stacking limits.

Common questions

What is a container stuffing plan?

A stuffing plan shows how cargo is arranged inside a container and the order it should be loaded. It usually includes a 3D or 2D diagram, a list of items with positions, and the total space and weight used.

What is vanning in logistics?

Vanning is the process of loading cargo into a shipping container, most commonly used in North American and Japanese logistics. Devanning is the reverse: unloading it. A vanning plan and a stuffing plan are the same document.

Does the software handle mixed cargo in one container?

Yes. Different cargo types with different dimensions, weights and stacking limits can share a container, and each keeps its own handling rules.

Can I adjust the plan by hand?

Yes. Any box can be moved or rotated in the 3D view. Moves that would overlap another item or break a handling rule are refused rather than silently accepted.
